Students must enter their SSC, FSc, and NUMS Entry test results to calculate and display their NUMS aggregate. This year, PMC MDCAT marks will not be used, so the merit formula has been modified. NUMS total marks are 200, with no negative marking. Candidates can calculate their NUMS aggregate using the following method.
NUMS Merit Formula 2024
According to PMDC, applicants to NUMS Constituent, Affiliated, and all Military (Armed Forces) Administered Medical and Dental Colleges are not required to take any exams besides NUMS.
- SSC or Equivalent = 10% Marks
- FSC or Equivalent = 40% Marks
- NUMS MDCAT Entry Test = 50% Marks
How To Calcuate NUMS Aggregate Formula?
Step 1: Calcuate the Percentage of NUMS, Inter and Matric Numbers
- For Example you scored:
- 140/150 in NUMS Entry Test 2024
- 1060/1100 in Intermediate/FSc
- 1080/1100 in Matriculation
In Percentage, it will be
- NUMS MDCAT (140/150) x 100 = 93.33%
- Intermediate (1060/1100) x 100 = 96.36%
- Matriculation (1080/1100) x 100 = 98.18%
Step 2: Proportionate your percentages to the Merit
- NUMS MDCAT Score Proporionate = 50%
- 93.33 x 50 / 100 = 46.65
- Inter Score Proporionate = 40%
- 96.36 x 40 / 100 = 38.54
- Matric Score Proporionate = 10%
- 98.18 x 10 / 100 = 9.82
Step 3: Sun Proporinate
- 46.65 + 38.54 + 9.82=
